DDA GEO PORTAL - HELP MANUAL
1. Introduction
The DDA GEO PORTAL - Citizen Portal allows users to explore GIS-based maps, master plans, and scanned layouts without requiring login credentials.
Key Features:
- Public access without login
- Location search functionality
- Multiple base maps
- Master Plan and Zone-wise Layouts
- Downloadable Layout Plans (LOPs)
2. Getting Started
Accessing the Portal
- Open the DDA GEO Portal.
- Click on Public Portal to enter (No login required).
- Accept the Disclaimer to proceed.
3. Language Selection
Users can choose a preferred language from the available options.
4. Help File
Click on Help to access the user manual.
5. Key Functionalities
Search Feature
- Find any location by entering the name or related keywords in the search box.
- The search is based on places and geographic landmarks.
Data Analysis Tools
- Zoom in/out, Refresh & Log out for a detailed or broad view.
Base Map Switcher
- Click on the Base Map Switcher tool to change the base map.
- A list of available base maps will appear.
- Select the desired base map to update the view.
Master Plan
- Click on the Master Plan icon to view the master map layer with a legend.
Scanned Layouts
- Click on Layout Plan to view available scanned layouts.
- Users will be redirected to the Zonal Scan Layouts Plan page.
Zone Selection
- Click on the Zone List (left side of the portal).
- Select a zone (e.g., A, B, C, etc.).
- The map will automatically navigate to the selected zone.
Downloading Layout Plans (LOPs)
- After selecting a zone, users can access LOPs.
- Click on the relevant heading (e.g., DDA, MCD, DIT, DUSIB, etc.).
- The download option will be available for each specific layout.
6. Advanced Features
Interactive Map Layers
- Toggle different GIS layers to view additional spatial information.
- Identify and analyze features on the map.
Mobile Compatibility
- The portal is accessible on mobile devices.
- Users can pinch to zoom and tap for navigation.
Multilingual Support
- Change the portal language using the language settings.
